The photography is finished and I’ve posted the portfolio for the Stafford Residence on my website. www.michaelgallagher.com . I’ve featured 12 great photos by Gary Soles.

As you can see from previous posts, this home won awards from the Summit County Parade of Homes and the Summit Association of Realtors. It is a custom home designed for some wonderful clients. They are now enjoying it tremendously.

Clouds over Twin Lakes

This photo was taken from the future dining room of the Montgomery Residence. The new home will sit above Twin Lakes in the central Colorado mountains. This custom home was designed to take advantage of this spectacular view.

Notice the shore line below the clouds.

Parade of Homes Awards

359 Long Ridge Drive recieved numerous awards from the Summit County Parade of Homes as well as “Overall Best Home” from the Summit Association of Realtors. The home is open for viewing September 18, 24 and 25 as part of the Summit County Parade of Homes.

The home in Breckenridge, Colorado looks over the Breckenridge Golf Course and on to Breckenridge Ski Area. This luxurious custom home can be found in Mountain Living Magazine’s Parade of Homes Guide on page 43.

Connection Details

For the Stafford Residence we’ve come up with some interesting custom connection details for the trusses and columns:

Stafford Residence nearing completion

The Summit County Parade of Homes is coming up September 17 & 18 and 24 & 25. The Stafford Residence at 359 Long Ridge Drive in Breckenridge will certainly be a favorite. The home is on track to be completed just before the Parade. I hope you’ll come and visit!

Some inspiration from the Mid-West

I recently visited family in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I’m always looking at architecture, art and nature for inspiration. I found some beautiful historic buildings that I think may influence a current design.

Carter Park Overlook nearing completion

Arnie and the crews at Double Diamond are making great progress on his spec home “Carter Park Overlook”. I’ve often noticed that the closer you get to finishing, the more slowly it seems to go. All those little items add up.

At this time the cabinetry and finish carpentry are well under way. Plumbing, electrical and tile setting are also moving along. The home should be finished and ready for a new owner this summer.

Rest in Peace

I”d like pay to tribute to a wonderful person, a great architect and an inspiration to me. Donald A Ramberg passed away recently in Carlsbad, California. I worked for Don while I was living out there and we became great friends. I’ll miss him, but what I’ve learned from him will be utilized in my architecture practice and life.

Sunshine Ridge project featured in Summit Daily News

I’m excited that the Summit Daily News featured an article on my recent project for their Earth Day issue. It covers the Sunshine Ridge Lane home that was completed in September.
