The steel stringers that will support the staircase have been installed. As you can see from the two pictures, the shape is fairly complex. The treads will sit on wedges above these steel tubes. This custom home will have a very contemporary mountain style. There will be enough stone and wood to connect to the mountain environment, but there will also be a great deal of metal and glass. It is located with ski-in access from Breckenridge Ski Area, yet it is just outside the town limits of Breckenridge, Colorado.
