Carter Park Overlook progress

Posted in Uncategorized on November 26, 2010 by michaelfgallagher

The carpenters are just finishing installing windows. The finish roofing isn’t on, but the house is “dried-in”. The exterior finishes and the rough plumbing and electrical will follow.

The timing is good. The basic shell is weather-proof and the snow is begining to pile up.

It will be a long winter for the construction crew, but everyone else in town is excited by the excellent early-season snow. Breckenrige Ski Resort is reporting record conditions.

Sledding Season has started at Carter Park

Since the Carter Park home sits right on the park, it’s a “sled-in sled-out” location.

The kids enjoy sledding as the workers build the new house.

Construction is moving along on this “spec home” – it is a custom design for this lot, but it is available for sale. Contact Breckenridge Associates http://www.breckenridgeassociates.com/

The rather complex framing for the Carter Park Overlook, a custom -speculative residence in Breckenridge, CO is almost done. The crew has been working hard to get the house weather-proof before winter really sets in. They are now setting windows and completing the insulation wrap on the exterior.

The carpenters are busy building and installing the huge timber trusses that will be an important part of the structure and aesthetics of the Stafford Residence. This custom home was designed by Michael F Gallagher for the Staffords’ spectacular lot overlooking the Breckenridge Golf Course, Breckenridge Ski Area and much of the Ten Mile Range in Breckenridge. The home is located just north of the golf course so it will have great access to Vail and Copper Mountain as well as Breckenridge.

Peak 8 Penthouse heads into final stretch

Posted in Uncategorized on November 2, 2010 by michaelfgallagher

The Peak 8 Penthouse, a custom home located steps from the Breckenridge Ski Area, is getting finishes completed inside and outside. This contemporary mountain design will offer incredible views of the ski area from it’s third-floor great room.  You can see from the photo that the exterior is nearly finished. The contemporary design is possible here since the home is actually not in the Town of Breckenridge, but in Summit County and is not governed by a home owners association’s design guidelines.
