Bennett Residence framing

Posted in Uncategorized on September 27, 2012 by michaelfgallagher

The framing on the Bennett Residence is progressing on schedule. Carpenters are moving along on the roof framing and hoping to have the building protected before winter really sets in.

As you can see in the photo, some of the roof framing is complete as fall weather hovers over the peaks of Breckenridge Ski Area beyond. This custom home should be ready for the owners for the holidays next year. Design for the large vacation home was inspired by the great lodges of wester US national parks – sometimes called “Parkitecture”.

Summit County Parade of Homes 2012

Posted in Uncategorized on September 20, 2012 by michaelfgallagher

The Summit County Parade of Homes is this weekend and next. Please come visit the home I designed at 50 Carter Drive. It’s Number 12 on Page 43 in the program.  There will be twenty projects in the Parade and as always, you’ll see some great architecture, design and construction. The modest admission charge benefits the Summit Foundation.

I will be at this home during much of the Parade and look forward to giving you a tour.
